Très belles montres vintages, notamment en chrono. La marque devrait se renouveller. Zénith (on ne va pas comparer !

Universal Geneve did not go out of business in 2010 – the company downsized its workforce, closed one of its main locations in Switzerland and the CEO resigned earlier this year. In spite of this, UG’s copyrights are still owned by the Stelux-HK portfolio, and there is no indication Stelux dissolved or divested its holdings in Universal. Such would have been made obvious. The company still has an active website, still has authorized dealers for their recent watches (from 2009 and earlier), but just have a much smaller business presence.
It can be agreed that any future Universal watch will likely be a « commemorative » of an earlier timepiece, and they’ll no longer be as influential as they once were up until the late 1960s.
