first of all excuse me if I write in English as my written French is very « small » ….
about the partnership between Omega and Comex I know for sure that the prototypes of Seamaster 600 and 1000 ( around 13-14 alltogether ) were given
to Comex and to the Cousteau team at the beginning of the 70s , and they were tested by both « equipes » either in the south of France ( near Marseilles ) and
in Corsica.
these prototypes ( almost NOT engraved « comex » ) have some differences in the inside of the case from the regular production , and have also some engravings in the back.
Mike Wood’s watch ( as well as mine ) have a certificate from Omega confirming that it’s a prototype sold to Comex.

after,
some ploprof from the « regular production » have been given to Comex in the first half of the 70s.
the exact number is unknown, but certainly not big !
