Résumé très succinct pour les passionnés de 16520 (En anglais désolé)
The very limited Daytona R-series that came with a porcelain dial (only in white). These where probably the first ones that came out and are very rare!
Late ‘87 the first 16520 came out. R-series with 200–180-160–50… bezel, with floating cosmograph (called floating dial) with the all brushed 78360 bracelet with a white or a black dial (black = more rare). This included the limited porcelain version
The 2nd version of the Daytona 16520 was the 1989 L-series (400–300-250–225… bezel, 4lines text dial, no officially certified on dial) and the all brushed 78360 bracelet. also in thew white and black dial versions.
3rd version is the early 1990/91 E-series (also X and N serie). 400–300-240–200… bezel with 5 lines text on the dial including the officially certified. The dial has an inverted 6 (which looks like a nine) and more rounded numbers.
Another change came during the N-series (1991/1993-ish) with the new polished center links bracelet with ref# 78390
4th version around 1993 with the S-series (400–300-240–200-60 bezel) with the return of the normal 6 and fat numbers and fat markings.
5th and last version is from the late 1998 to early 2000 with the luminova dial and the SEL bracelet (ref # 78390A).
Note: there are most likely also some transitional versions such as an R-series with a 200–180-160 bezel and 4lines dial instead of floating dial. L-series with floating dial (instead of 4lines) and the 400–300-250–225 bezel…
The pushers are positions slightly off centre (they don’t aim exactly at the centre of the dial but slightly to the right side if the centre).

je le redis encore une fois au risque de radoter, ce que j’adore sur ces modèles c’est la couronne à la place de l’insert 12.
J’ai essayé d’agrandir un peu mais sans les bons outils ce n’est pas evident, il faut jouer avec la lumiere et les angles pour vraiment voir l’effet 3D (a ne pas confondre avec un floating blanc ‘normal’ )
