    Dear Triton friends,

Please excuse me for writing in English. I’m living in Germany and unfortunately I don’t speak French. I would therefore be grateful for your indulgence Feu de Triton ! - Page 21 1f604

I think I have read all the topics about this watch in this forum by now Feu de Triton ! - Page 21 1f601
I’m about to buy a Subphotique and struggling with the last details…

It is the case that I have a rather narrow wrist at 16-16.5cm. Do you think that might fit?
Unfortunately, I don’t have a dealer in my area and would have to order the watch « blindly ».

I would also be interested in whether the band also has « half » links? I like to wear watches « snug fit », that is, they don’t flicker on my arm.

    I have one final question.
Can someone say from their own experience whether the watch is « smaller » on the fabric strap than on the steel strap?

Many thanks for your help thumleft
    all the best

It will fit, I have the same wrist and it works fine on the steel bracelet. Smile

I don’t know about half links.

It all depends on how a « large » case will sit on your wrist and whether you’ll feel comfortable with it. Mine’s 17cm and I figured it sat just right. Also the bracelet and endlinks are very nicely manufactured and allow the whole watch to adapt to the wrist curves very smoothly. Adjusting the 2 different links from the bracelet will probably be a good way to adress the fine tuning issue you were referring to (worked with me anyway).

As far as bracelet/bands are concerned, I remember that the fabric strap was slimer than the metal bracelet (and far lighter) giving the set-up a more discreet look. The bonus is that the watch goes well with any kind of bands (tropic, nato, perlon, leather, etc as long as they are 2 pieces) imo once again.

Thank you guys for helping me out thumright

Good to know that the bracelet comes with two different sizes of links. I haven’t been able to find the information anywhere so far.

After reading through various topics on the Subphotique, the question arises whether it is worth waiting for the smaller Spirotechnique. It has been announced, but it is not known when the watch will actually be on the market.
On the other hand – it wouldn’t be a big deal to wait a few more months before buying a Triton in the hope that the new model would come out then.
